Mornings at the resort are an incredibly luxurious experience. When I woke up in my overwater villa and opened the curtains, the morning sun was reflecting off the emerald green ocean, and it was an emotional morning. I was so excited, thinking, "Today is going to be another great day!" as I headed to the main restaurant, La Locanda, for breakfast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The local birds \ud83d\udc26 also said hello to us \u2728 - so cute!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La Locanda's breakfast buffet is as luxurious as rumored. It has everything from freshly baked croissants and tropical fruits to fresh juices and omelets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was surprised to find that they even had honey squeezed directly from the beehive! \ud83c\udf6f I poured a generous amount on my toast and it had a gentle sweetness that was delicious. \ud83d\udc95 If you choose a semi-outdoor seat, you can enjoy your meal while feeling the sea breeze, giving you the perfect resort feeling.
I ended up staying for a long time and getting full... \ud83d\ude05 I was very satisfied from the morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I even enjoyed sparkling wine in the morning.
Now I can enjoy the perks of a resort vacation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Walk around the island and look for photogenic spots\ud83d\udcf8<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

After recharging my energy with a delicious breakfast, I decided to take a walk around the resort island. The island of the Ritz-Carlton Maldives is neither too big nor too small, making it perfect for exploring the surrounding area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We got on the bikes provided by the resort\ud83d\udeb2\ud83c\udfd6\ufe0f and explored the small paths while cycling (cutting through the wind on a bike feels so good!). There were palm trees and white sandy beaches everywhere, and the turquoise blue sea was picturesque from every angle\ud83c\udf0a\u2728 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

No matter what angle I looked at, I was always excited, thinking, "This place would definitely look great in photos!" In fact, I had seen it on Instagram and admired it.Photogenic<\/strong>There were so many great spots to see that my smartphone's camera roll was instantly filled with tropical colors \ud83d\udcf1\ud83c\udf3a (lol). The view of the rows of water villas, the infinity pool jutting out into the sea, the swings by the sea, and everywhere else was picturesque, so photography lovers couldn't resist \ud83d\ude0d\ud83c\udfb6 I enjoyed my time on the island, taking in the beauty of the Maldives with my whole body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seaside Teppanyaki Dinner\ud83c\udf63 Romantic Night at IWAU<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

After a lot of activity on the island, we took a rest in the villa. In the evening, we enjoyed dinner again. On the second night, we went to a Japanese teppanyaki restaurant.IWAU<\/strong>I had made a reservation for IWAU. IWAU is named after the Japanese word "iwau" (celebrate), and as the name suggests, it's a wonderful space that will get you in a celebratory mood.
It's so luxurious to enjoy teppanyaki under the stars and feeling the sea breeze at an open-air restaurant along the beach...!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We couldn't help but applaud the performance the chef put on on the hot plate in front of us \ud83d\udc4f\u2728 Just the sound and aroma of fresh seafood and Wagyu steaks sizzling on the grill made us want to drink wine \ud83c\udf77 (laughs). The food was served hot and fresh on the grill, which made it twice as delicious! As we savored the plump lobster and melting meat, we both looked at each other and said, "This is the best teppanyaki we've ever had in our lives \ud83d\ude0d". We ended the meal with garlic rice and were very satisfied.
With the sound of waves lapping in the background and a beautiful starry sky, we enjoyed a teppanyaki dinner, making for a romantic and unforgettable evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Go on a snorkeling tour to see sea turtles \ud83d\udc22\ud83e\udd3f<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The main event on the third day was marine activities unique to the Maldives!
Energetic from the morningSea Turtle Snorkeling Tour<\/strong>I participated in the tour. We boarded the boat and went to the offshore snorkeling spot with the staff. When we jumped into the crystal clear water, it was like we were in another world! Colorful tropical fish fluttered in front of our eyes, and we were constantly impressed by the underwater scenery with colorful coral reefs spreading out before our eyes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And we finally encountered the sea turtles! Three of them! \ud83d\udc22\ud83d\udc22\ud83d\udc22 When we approached the large sea turtles swimming leisurely, we felt like they were swimming with us. The sight of them gracefully eating seaweed was so cute that it warmed our hearts \ud83e\udd70\ud83d\udc93
I was so excited and impressed to see wild sea turtles up close! I even took a video with my waterproof camera!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was moved by the way everything sparkled, the sunlight looking up from the ocean, and the countless fish surrounding me. The ocean in the Maldives is even more amazing than I had imagined...\ud83d\ude2d\ud83c\udf08<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cheers to elite members only cocktail night \ud83c\udf79<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

After a lot of snorkeling, we participated in a special event in the evening. Since we are Marriott Bonvoy elite members,Exclusive cocktail night for elite members<\/strong>I was invited to the party! \ud83c\udf89 Elite members gathered at the Beach Shack bar in the resort for a small party where they enjoyed wine and cocktails while watching the sunset. The moment when we toasted with the sunset-colored sky and sea in the background was really like something out of a movie \ud83e\udd42\u2728 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was excited to be treated like an VIP, something I rarely experience, but the staff were friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed. The finger food was stylish and delicious, especially the canapes made with tropical fruits. I was grateful for the hospitality of the resort and enjoyed an elegant evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Relax your body and mind at the ultimate spa \ud83d\udc86\u200d\u2640\ufe0f<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

On the fourth day, we kept the activities to a minimum and spent time in the resort.spa<\/strong>We decided to spend some luxurious relaxation time there. The spa at the Ritz-Carlton Maldives is a circular overwater spa built to float on the sea. When we crossed the pier and entered the round building, it was a quiet and healing space that felt like another world \ud83d\ude0c\ud83d\udc96 We had booked a couple's room, so we decided to get a massage together. We were enchanted by the view of the lagoon through the glass and the faint sound of the waves... The therapist's skillful techniques gradually loosened up our stiff bodies. We were surrounded by the pleasant aroma of aromatic oils, and half-asleep in a dreamlike state halfway through \ud83d\ude34\ud83d\udc93 By the end of the 90-minute massage, our whole bodies had melted, our skin was smooth, and even our hearts were lighter. After the massage, we cooled down on the overwater deck while enjoying herbal tea. Looking at the view of only the sky and the sea, I was so relaxed that I almost started joking, "I want to live here forever..." (laughs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finish off with a private BBQ dinner\ud83d\udd25\ud83c\udf19<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The last night in the Maldives will conclude with the most romantic dinner of the trip!Private BBQ Dinner<\/strong>We had requested that \u2728\ud83d\udc69\u200d\u2764\ufe0f\u200d\ud83d\udc68 The resort staff prepared a special dinner setting on the beach just for us. Candles and lanterns were lit on the private white sand beach, creating a romantic space like a scene from a movie...! The chef came to our place and started grilling dinner right in front of us\ud83d\udd25 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sizzling sound of the food grilling and the fragrant aroma that fills the air are so satisfying that they make you sigh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The menu was full of fresh seafood platters, tender fillets, colorful grilled vegetables, and more. Each cooked dish was beautifully arranged on a plate and served carefully by the chef. Dinner on the sand under the starry sky and listening to the sound of the waves was exceptional, and we were so impressed that we both said, "This is the best...\ud83e\udd7a"!
Along the way, the staff asked us if we could take a photo for us, so we took a commemorative photo with the starry sky in the background. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We toasted with champagne and it was a night of extravagance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And so, the few days filled with activities and delicious food in the Maldives passed by in a flash...<\/p>\n\n\n\n
