The first day of my trip to the Maldives finally began, and my journey to the dream resort had finally begun! 🌴 Late on Friday night, after finishing work, I hurried to Haneda Airport to board a late-night Singapore Airlines flight.
I was a little worried about the midnight flight, but I was so excited that I couldn't sleep at all 😂💓 I watched a movie on the plane and checked my itinerary again... I was already in tropical mode 🐟🪸
Elegant transit at Singapore Changi Airport
We arrived at Singapore Changi International Airport! It was early in the morning, but as it is one of the world's leading hub airports, the shops were open and it was lively. We had about 6 hours of transit time until our next flight.
This waiting time is also one of the joys of traveling 😊✨ Singapore AirlinesSilverKris LoungeWe went straight to the airport and immediately toasted with champagne🍾. In the business class lounge, champagne is free-flowing, blowing away the fatigue of the journey. There is a stylish bar counter in the center of the lounge, and the champagne poured in flute glasses was exceptional😋. We washed off the sweat in the shower room and took a quick nap on the fluffy sofa🛋️💤. It's amazing that Singapore Airlines allows us to spend such an elegant time between long flights...♡ Even a transit is a luxurious experience.
Arrived in the Maldives! VIP transfer on a Ritz-Carlton luxury speedboat 🚤
After another flight from Singapore, we finally arrived at Male International Airport in the Maldives! 🌺 The moment we landed at the airport, the tropical heat and blue sky made us excited, "We're here! Maldives!" 🙌💕 At the arrival gate, the staff of the Ritz-Carlton Maldives (Fari Island) welcomed us with a smile. After checking in our luggage, we were guided to the resort's private speedboat.
This speedboat is more luxurious than you can imagine! It is a pure white cruiser, and the inside of the boat is air-conditioned and equipped with Wi-Fi.
The fluffy sofas, cold towels and water are provided, making you feel like a VIP even during the journey ✨ The boat is a 45-minute cruise from Male Airport. As it glides through the emerald green ocean, the tropical islands occasionally come into view from the window, making it seem like a scene from a movie... 🎥🌊 Famous models and influencers were also on the same boat. As you would expect from the Ritz-Carlton!
Arrived at the resort! The coveted overwater villa and Michelin special dinner🍴
When we got off the boat, we found ourselves at the paradise resort of our dreams✨ We were greeted by a pure white pier and an incredibly crystal clear lagoon. We were guided by a staff member to check in and then taken to our room in a cart. Our room this time was an overwater villa🏝️! It was a Ritz-Carlton villa with a distinctive circular design, and we couldn't help but exclaim in delight at the luxury of having a private pool. We could step directly into the sea from the terrace, and the turquoise blue sea was right in front of us... we were enchanted by the view we had dreamed of🥰 Moreover, this stay wasFree nights using Marriott Bonvoy pointsI can't believe I can stay at a super luxury resort that costs over 300,000 yen a night for free... There are many points 🙏✨
After a short break, we headed to the first day's special event at dusk.La LocandaWe had made a reservation for a special dinner hosted by a Michelin-starred chef at "Yokohama Coffee House." We dressed up and went to the restaurant, where we were guided to a table by the sea as the sunset bathed us in the glow of the setting sun. With the sound of the waves lapping in the background, the dinner course finally began!
I was impressed from start to finish by the many dishes prepared by the famous chef...✨ All of the dishes were sophisticated masterpieces, from appetizers made with fresh seafood to main dishes so beautiful I was speechless. The dessert in particular was so artistically presented that I couldn't help but exclaim, "Wow...♡" the moment the plate was brought to me! Of course, the taste was also superb, and I was filled with happiness every time I took a bite🤤💖
The chef himself came around to each table to greet us, and it was such a dreamy dinner that we wondered if it was really okay to have such luxury on our first night at a resort.
After dinner, we returned to the villa while gazing at the starry sky, and went to sleep with the sound of the waves in the background. Although we were tired from the long journey, our hearts were filled with excitement!
Starting tomorrow, the activity paradise of the Maldives will finally begin🌟
