🚆 Relaxing on a train journey — Tokyo → Kyoto → Nara

Take the Shinkansen from Tokyo Station to Kyoto. From there, change to the Kintetsu Limited Express and head to Nara, soothed by the swaying travel mood and the greenery outside the window.

The unique rhythm of train travel gradually increased my excitement at this extraordinary experience.

The club lounge is a relaxing space with a warm wooden interior, the perfect place to enjoy sparkling wine and light meals in the evening. The staff's smart hospitality also relaxed my mind.

In the evening, we went to the hotel's sushi restaurant. The sushi served over the counter was super fresh, and we were intoxicated by the luxury of the "Omakase Course."

The course consisted of appetizers, snacks and nigiri sushi, and everything was delicious🍣🍣🍣
Nara does not have a sea, but the ingredients were fresh and the chef's preparation and grilling were all done in great detail, making it excellent.
The JW Marriott original champagne, shown in the photo, goes perfectly with any sushi, making it the perfect pairing 🥂🍾

The course, which included sushi and snacks, cost ¥24,035 per person plus drinks.

And to finish off the night, we'll have a toast while listening to live music in the lounge on the first floor.

I was in a great mood after having sushi, champagne and lounge cocktails in the club lounge.
The satisfaction was at its peak from the first day ☺️

☀️ Day 2: A relaxing time with deer and light rain in Nara Park

The next morning, I had a leisurely breakfast in the club lounge (I should add that when I went to the club lounge for breakfast, I was told that there were more food options on the first floor, so I went there, but it was super crowded and I had to wait for an hour 💦 I wish they hadn't shown me there in that case... 😮‍💨)

1st floor Silk Road opening hours

7:00-11:30 (last entry 10:30)

We recommend going to the breakfast venue on the first floor either early in the morning or late at night.

I pulled myself together and enjoyed the Western food menu by the window as the morning sun streamed in, thinking it was the best part of the lounge benefits only available to members 🍚🍲🍞☕️
Afterwards, we took a walk to Nara Park (it's about a 10-minute taxi ride from JW Marriott to Nara Park) in anticipation of the time after check-out.
The moist air after the rain and the faint scent of the deer created a sense of realism that can only be experienced on a journey.
Yes, there were some places that smelled a little bad, so I'd like to try again next time when the weather is nice🦌☺️

A digest of Nara Park is here↩️

  • I couldn't help but scream when I saw a deer boldly crossing the road (it crossed safely) 🦌🚗
  • Baby Bambi and his mother deer come over to warm our hearts.
  • It's a reasonable walk from Kasuga Taisha Shrine to Todaiji Temple.
  • In front of Todaiji Temple, guests from overseas and school trip groups all gathered together, and the fragrant smell of the deer made it a bit of a mess😆

Spending time with the deer, who live freely and leisurely, helped me escape from my daily routine and free my mind⭐️🦌

✨ Afterglow and impressions of the trip

By the time you return from this trip, your mind and body will be completely refreshed.
Enjoy the luxury of freely moving between the club lounges with your platinum privileges.
The afterglow of the time I spent being soothed by the natural cuteness of the deer in Nara Park was exceptional.
